How AI Processes Your Data

Our AI assistant uses your wedding data to provide contextual planning help. Your data is processed by our AI models to generate suggestions, manage tasks, and answer questions about your wedding.

We use third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to power our assistant. Your data is sent to these services under strict data processing agreements that govern how your information is handled and protected.

AI-generated suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate. Always verify important details such as vendor availability, pricing, legal requirements, and other critical information independently.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide you with our services.

• After account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days
• Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes
• Backup copies are purged within 90 days of deletion

Data Export & Portability

You can export your wedding data at any time as CSV files. Export includes guest lists, events, tasks, budget data, and other planning information.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data — ever.

We share data only with the following categories of third-party service providers, all of whom are bound by data processing agreements:

• Cloud infrastructure providers — Google Cloud Platform, for hosting and data storage
• AI processing services — Anthropic, for powering the AI assistant
• Email and notification services — for delivering communications you have configured

We may also disclose your data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data:

• Hosted on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade infrastructure
• Data encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Automatic daily backups
• Regular security assessments

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security from all threats.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Shutdown Commitment

If aiDo ever ceases operations, we commit to providing at least 90 days notice to all active users. During this period, you will be able to export all your data. After the notice period, all data will be securely deleted.
