1. What Are Cookies

2. How We Use Cookies

aiDo's website keeps cookies and similar browser storage to a minimum. We use them for three purposes:

  • Essential & functional storage: We remember your light/dark theme choice and whether you have accepted or declined analytics. This is stored in your browser so the site can respect your preferences. It does not track you and is set without requiring consent.
  • Analytics cookies: We use PostHog to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited most and how many people request early access — so we can improve aiDo. Where the law requires prior consent (for example in the EU and UK) these cookies are set only after you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner; elsewhere they may be enabled by default. Either way, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time (see section 5).
  • Ad measurement cookies: When we advertise on Google or Meta (Facebook and Instagram), their tags tell us whether an ad click led to someone creating an account or a wedding. These tags set cookies from Google and Meta. We send them only the fact that a signup or wedding creation happened, never your wedding details, guest list or email address. They follow the same consent choice as analytics.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We do not sell your data. The only third parties that may set cookies are the tools we use to run and measure the site and our ads:

  • PostHog — product analytics that help us understand and improve the site, subject to your cookie choice (see section 5). To determine which consent rules apply, we also make a one-time lookup of your approximate location (country) by IP via GeoJS; this does not set a cookie.
  • Google Ads and Meta — measure whether our ads lead to signups, subject to your cookie choice (see section 5).
  • Formspree — processes our early-access (waitlist) form submissions.

5. Managing Your Preferences

If you are visiting from a region that requires prior consent (such as the EU or UK), we ask before enabling analytics and ad measurement, and they are switched on only if you choose “Accept”. Elsewhere, they may be enabled by default. Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
